Bonetale Android is a new mobile adaptation of the acclaimed RPG Undertale. Although it's far from offering the same experience of the original title, this remake brings totally different mechanics, focusing its gameplay mainly on a more direct combat style, moving away from the role-playing seen in the original.
In Bonetale Android, you'll play Sans, the charismatic skeleton that made things so difficult for you in the original Undertale. The action of the title is mainly focused around the final combat, and it'll be up to you to try to defeat Frisk, making use of each and every one of the characteristic powers of your antihero.
The gameplay in Bonetale Android is simple. You'll use the d-pad on the left side of the screen to move your character around while you use the buttons on the right to carry out different attacks. The bars at the top of the screen will indicate Sans and Frisk's life and mana levels.
The game is divided into more than 10 levels, all centered around the combat. You'll be rewarded with coins after successfully completing each one. This is how you'll be able to buy new characters, settings and skins.
Although it's visually similar and uses the same characters as Undertale, Bonetale Android doesn't have much in common with the original in terms of gameplay or storyline. Even so, it's fun enough to become a great place holder while you await the release of the new game from Toby Fox.
